Windchill PDMLink™ is an integrated data management system with Pro/Engineer^® and other applications.  CAD data is  stored in the Vault for security.  Users download desired files to their workspace for design and engineering work.  Data is controlled by revision and release state within PDMLink, so history is preserved and data is not “lost” on disk or overwritten.  PDMLink is design to operate over a wide area network, facilitating collaboration with clients and partners at remote locations.  Once a project is complete, the native files can be exported and provided to the client.
