All design work is accomplished in Pro/Engineer using 3D solid geometry. The use of this powerful 3D design software streamlines the design process. All components and assemblies are modeled and assembled as they would be produced on the factory floor. The design can be checked on the computer before cutting a single chip. Electronic files of components are exported for the machine shop or mold builder. Tool paths are then generated from the electronic data, speeding up the process, reducing errors, saving manufacturing time, money, and time to market. Pro/Intralink is a data base management tool used with Pro/Engineer for revision control and concurrent engineering. FEA is accomplished with Pro/Mechanica software. This software runs from within Pro/Engineer to streamline the design process and insure component integrity prior to manufacturing. |
